The AgriProAct team participated in the Information Day on Intervention 6.2 of the CAP 2023–2027 Strategic Plan, titled “EIP Operational Groups and their innovative projects”, held on 23 June 2026 at the Department of Agriculture in Nicosia.

Following the event, the project team, led by the coordinator, held a constructive meeting with members of the Cyprus Department of Meteorology and the Management and Operation Team of the Cyprus National Rural Network at the Department of Agriculture.

The discussion focused on the vision and objectives of AgriProAct, the role of the Department of Agriculture as an important stakeholder, and ways in which the Cyprus National Rural Network could support the wider dissemination of the project’s results to relevant actors across the agricultural sector. The meeting also included an initial exchange on the criteria for selecting the pilot application areas, with emphasis on relevance, representativeness, and practical feasibility.

Importantly, today marked the first in a series of stakeholder-engagement meetings for the project. With the active support of the Department of Agriculture, more meetings will follow, involving a broader range of stakeholders, sectoral actors, and organisations. These interactions are important for ensuring that AgriProAct remains closely connected to real needs in agriculture, environmental management, and public-sector decision support.
